                    This foal grew up to be a very stout palomino gelding. I haven't seen him
                    in a while but I heard he did get big. I painted the sides on this one so you
                    can frame it or hang it just the way it is.

        Maybe I should have called it Primary Colors. I think Flight works better.
        I love how dark the horses get in the winter especially against the cool colors of winter.

I was inspired last week. I visited the Zoo (Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo ) and took a lot of photos. I love the big cats. Haven't painted one in a while but I couldn't wait to get home and paint him. Hope everyone likes it! I did a sketch first before the painting. Thought I'd include it in the pictures.

                             The grasses out here turn yellow when autumn comes.
                            The horses turn into a rich dark color. Pretty soon winter
