Another of the Horses of the rodeo I painted this one from the River City Rodeo. 

He was so black until the sun would hit him  and then he just lite up with color.

Just finished this painting. This baby was from my mare Rainy. 

 She was a little spitfire but turned out to be easy to train.

 She grew up to be a very pretty mare. The miniature paintings have my initials

because of the size of my full name it would take up to much of the painting. I always put

my full name on the back of all my paintings. Just in case someone is curious.

My collection of paintings for Urgent Pet Care.  I was worried the paintings would be to small for this large wall but  it worked out well! Now back to painting and posting. I'm also working on cleaning out my studio and downsizing the desk and drafting table I use.

Oil on canvas Late summer in the pasture with Hope. She really is fun to paint all the colors just bounce off her white coat. I used a heavier application of paint on this painting so I will have to ship this one on Saturday March 29.

Luna lived a short life but one of her favorite things was to rub out her mane.
Every winter she would have mane that looked all spiky and had bald spots but by
the end of summer she would have the mane of a super model again. I took this photo
in early fall before she had a chance to work on her mane.

Its going to be -35 below (wind chill) here on Monday with the actual temperature being -12 below. We haven't been that cold in awhile. Hopefully my car will still start in the morning. Hope no one else has this cold weather coming their way!
